Luke 7:35 (NKJV)
“But wisdom is justified by all her children.”
One line, and the whole picture changes: Wisdom has CHILDREN.
Not followers. Not students taking notes from a distance. Children — hers. “Wisdom is justified by all her children.”
And Yeshua says this about himself, too. He had just been called a glutton and a friend of sinners (rude, and also — look at the company — accurate), and his answer is not "I am Wisdom itself." His answer puts him where he actually stood: among HER children, proving Her right by the fruit.
A child of Wisdom is not the source of Wisdom. A son is not his own mother (biology still works, even in theology).
She was before him. She taught him. And if we are ever going to know Her, it helps to stop pretending Her own children invented Her.
