"God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?"
God said it plainly, so plainly we had to build a whole doctrine to walk around it: God is NOT a man. And NOT a son of man.
Not "sort of." Not "except that one time." NOT.
Read it again — slowly. The verse does not stutter.
If God is not a man, then a man cannot be God — not by vote, not by council, not by creed repeated loud enough (volume is not evidence).
And God does not lie about this, and they do not repent of it later. They said it, and they will make it good.
Yeshua was a man — a Prophet of God, sent and speaking truly. Honoring him means believing what God actually said about God, not what we later insisted God must have meant.
