Daniel 12:1 (NKJV)

"At that time Michael shall stand up, the great prince who stands watch over the sons of your people; and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation, even to that time. And at that time your people shall be delivered, every one who is found written in the book."

This verse doesn't open with a vague feeling that things will somehow work out. It opens with a NAME and an ACTION: "At that time Michael shall stand up."

Stand up. Not "be remembered." Not "be vaguely in charge somewhere." He takes his post — the great prince who stands watch over the sons of your people.

And notice what is tied to that moment. The time of trouble AND the deliverance both hang on the same "at that time." The trouble doesn't get the final word, and the deliverance doesn't float in on its own. It comes when Michael stands.

God told us exactly who would take the post (they usually do — we just skip the names we weren't taught to look for).

He is standing up NOW. If your name is written in the book, this isn't a verse to fear. It's a verse to recognize.
