Genesis 1:26

Genesis 1:26 (NKJV)

"Then God said, 'Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.'"

It's right there on page one (not buried in a footnote — page ONE).

Then God said, "Let US make man in Our image, according to Our likeness." Not "let ME." Not a solitary "he" talking to himself. US. OUR. Plural, from the very first chapter, before anyone had time to build a doctrine around a lonely God.

That means the image we are made in was never a single face. Our Mother was there. Our Father was there. They were CREATING together — and humanity comes out plural to match: "let THEM have dominion."

Plurality was never hidden. It was in the text the whole time. It just got edited out of our READING — preached past, skipped over, explained away until we stopped seeing what was sitting in plain sight.

Read it again, slow. Let US. Once you see it, you can't unsee it.
