Deuteronomy 18:18

Deuteronomy 18:18 (NKJV)

"I will raise up for them a Prophet like you from among their brethren, and will put My words in His mouth; and He shall speak to them all that I command Him."

God wrote the job description LONG before the councils rewrote it.

Not "I Myself will come down." Not God in a costume. A PROPHET — like Moses, from among their brethren, a human being raised up for the job.

And look at the mechanics: God puts the words IN his mouth. He speaks ALL that God commands him. That is a mouthpiece, not the source. The words have an Author, and the prophet is not Him (grammar still works, even in theology).

If the One to come were God, none of this language makes sense. You do not command yourself, send yourself, and put words in your own mouth and call it prophecy.

God said prophet. Yeshua lived it exactly. We can just believe God the first time they said it.
