I told Michael once: "You will never understand unconditional love until you experience it. Until then, you'll THINK you understand it."
He thought, of course, that he understood it. Of course he did. Everybody does.
Yesterday he told me he gets it now. He understands — and he understands what I meant.
That was our greatest mission here.
Humanity has ZERO idea what it means to truly love unconditionally — even when what you love is horrible. What it means to love and honor yourself without arrogance and selfishness. How to be selfless without losing yourself. None of it. Maybe 2 in 10,000 actually get it. "There are none righteous" — that's what it feels like right now.
The theme these last few days from the Divine Feminine is to learn to clear your own karma and love yourself.
Become the partner your ideal partner would want to be with.
Not by coveting what another has, but by cultivation of what is already within you.
Shine your own light brighter regardless of what anyone else is doing.
Like attracts like. If you are feeling like you are lacking anything, you will attract more of that lack, not fulfillment.
If there is anyone or anything you think you need more than God's will for you, it will be removed from you. How you accept that will determine what you attract next.
It's about the will of your HIGHER SELF... NOT YOUR EGO. I cannot stress that enough.
Most of you are running around thinking you know what's up, and you are actively destroying yourself while denying the rescue boats Spirit has sent you in your storm. It's not anyone's job to save you... but God.
Until you get out of your own way, you aren't leaving room for God to guide you.
Your prayers don't get answered how you WANT them answered unless you are praying from a frequency of PURE SELFLESS LOVE... but they ALWAYS get answered how you NEED them to be.
Sometimes the answer to your prayers is NO.
Accept it.
It's no for a reason, and God knows BETTER THAN YOU.
Paul wrote the definition down for us:
"Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails." (1 Corinthians 13:4-8)
We had that in our wedding vows.
Long ago I read: put the name of your partner in place of the word "love" in that verse. If it doesn't fit, he isn't the one.
Michael is patient. Michael is kind. Michael does not envy...
It fit. It still fits.
But here is what most people miss — put YOUR OWN name in there. FIRST.
Jillian is patient. Jillian is kind. Jillian does not seek her own. Jillian bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things...
You are to treat YOURSELF that way — first and foremost. And then all others. ALL others.
And if your name doesn't fit in that verse yet, that is your work. Not hunting for someone whose name fits — BECOMING someone whose name does.
That IS unconditional love. Not a feeling you think your way into — a frequency you live your way into. Loving what is horrible. Honoring yourself without arrogance. Surrendering your ego's will to your Higher Self. You don't understand it by thinking about it.
You understand it by experiencing it. Not before.
